Poem on the Law of Conservation of Matter

Everything is recycled, neither created nor destroyed

Endless iterations of the same reused molecules

I piss

a dinosaur's tears.

All love was once waste, all anger was energy.

This passion                flower                   a cloud

Nothing new under the sun and even the sun

Remnants of brethren flames.

There is a certain beauty in this, a freedom.

We will all be all right.  We'll come around again.
